During 4 sessions over a period of 12 months, I am photographing Linda at work. She is the owner and creator
With each photo session taking place during a different season, I’m able to document both the changes within her garden as well as the various bouquets etc she has been asked to make.
On this occasion she had been asked to produce a funeral bouquet.
Everything she uses is biodegradable and the flowers and greenery all grown in her garden.

When you’re a small independent business it’s so important to let people see you. So many websites don’t have photos of the face or faces behind the brand. People really do buy from people so be brave and have some professional photographs taken. I promise it really isn’t that bad!

You may have seen photos of on some previous posts. Here she is in her new studio after previously having to work at the kitchen table.
She’s a fantastic artist who I’m working with to provide photos for her social media and hopefully a new website.
It’s often difficult as a creative to focus on the business side of things, but having photos to show is critical to a very image driven market.

It’s the most wonderful time of year! 🎄
I spent a couple of hours photographing wreath making workshop on Saturday. This is just one element of Linda’s business which I’m going to be photographing throughout the seasons. As a small business, having professional photos to use on social media and your website is a great way to show off your talents and products.
These wreaths were made with all biodegradable materials and the metal frame can be used again next year.

Emily is the proud owner of Tickety Boo in Wye, Kent. I popped round to photograph her and her fab little shop last week.
Inherited from her parents this is a very special place for Emily.
Like many small business owners she puts her heart and soul into it!
If you haven’t been in and taken a look I urge you to do so. She’ll welcome you with a fantastic warm smile and has all sorts of things that make wonderful Xmas gifts!

Although I’ve been a little quiet on here for a few weeks, life and work has been far from it!
If you know me at all you’ll know my love for my fur baby Coco. So photographing some darling pooches being pampered and preened recently was right up my street!
This groomers prides itself on its use of natural products and I’ll be sharing some more images over the next day or so to show them at work!
