When I was a youngster I seen starlings everywhere nowadays days I only see the in winter when they visit my feeders , known for there glossy coats and loud squabbling and of course there stunning murmurations I do miss them , The Big Garden Birdwatch, which took place in January, recorded the lowest number of starlings since the survey began in 1979. These images are of juvenile starlings feeding on the last remaining Blackberrys .
