Taking a moment.

When so much of life is spent filming, editing, travelling, planning and thinking about the next job, sometimes it’s good to just stop.

No cameras to set up.
No drone to launch.
No shot list.

Just a boat, the water, and a few minutes to actually take it all in.
Although, obviously, I still filmed it. 😂 *Locations for future sessions!*

Sometimes you’ve just got to catch the moment.

Right, now onto the actual hectic bit of last week…
Monday was an editing day, attempting to make a dent in everything already sitting on the hard drives.

Tuesday and Wednesday were spent filming with Arctic Cabins, cameras everywhere, multiple angles and plenty of footage to take back to the edit.

Thursday was something completely different, working on education sessions with young people.

Then Friday was off to the Miss Great Britain launch, with the drone up in the air to capture that rather impressive group shot.

Editing, filming, education, cabins, cameras, drones and Miss Great Britain, all in five days.

Which perhaps explains why spending Sunday morning fighting an imaginary horde of sewer rats felt like a perfectly reasonable way to relax. 😂

Never quite sure what the next week is going to look like at Front Row Films, but that’s half the fun of it.

Before we get into what was a crazily hectic week, Sunday morning was all about D&D time. 🎲

As you can see, the party found themselves in some mysterious sewers beneath the city, facing up to the big bad, which in this case was a giant horde of rats. The dragon is standing in for the rats, imagination is doing some of the heavy lifting here!

There was excellent coffee, gluten-free cake and a few hours spent worrying about imaginary problems rather than real ones.

After travelling around the country all week with cameras and drones, it’s important to make some ‘me’ time, switch off and do something completely different.

Although I’m not entirely sure being attacked by a giant horde of sewer rats counts as relaxing… 😂

It’s been a fairly normal week ahead at Front Row Films HQ…

🎬 Tuesday, editing.

☀️ Wednesday, Birmingham filming a solar panel installation.

📸 Friday, Liverpool for portraits, headshots AND filming for a rather special project

And now IT’S MY FREEAAAAAKING BIRTHDAAAAAAY! 🎉😂

So, frankly, anything productive achieved after Friday is going to be considered a bonus.

Cameras down. Birthday mode activated.

Another year older, absolutely no guarantee of being any wiser.
