Strand Arts Centre presents a special photographic exhibition which traces the evolution of Strandtown over a century. It reveals the changes and constants in the area over the decades, and highlights the importance of ‘the Strand’ as a landmark or anchor of Strandtown since 1935.

The exhibition includes the work of local photographer Perry Zachary (who has been documenting the area since the 1940s), and draws upon research and stories collected through the ‘Strand Stories’ heritage project to date.

Come on a guided photo walk around Victoria Park with professional photographer Carrie Davenport Photography where you will learn a bit about framing up great images, working with available light and how to spot a great photo opportunity.

Great for anyone interested in seeing a bit more of the area or practising their photography skills. In the park there are opportunities for detail shots, landscapes, Belfast landmarks and wildlife (hopefully!) so it will be a fun and varied day for photography enthusiasts.
