A throwback to a fab product photography shoot I did back in June with the lovely Aisling from City Sights Candles and the newest addition to her beautiful candle and wax melts range.

As the Titanic is such an iconic symbol I wanted to keep to a simple nautical theme that didn’t take away from the design itself. I wanted to play on the importance of the world’s most famous ship and so my fisherman’s table backdrop and Titanic picture book made for the perfect accessories to create an overall rustic feel. ⚓

Goodbye July, Hello August! 🐚

Chapter 7 of 2026 and another trip around the sun!
I’ve always found July to be a quiet month work wise with summer season in full swing which works in my favour of taking some time off to celebrate my birthday month in style, and more importantly guilt-free!

A month of blue skies and heatwaves, dreamy sunsets, three days in my favourite city, inspiring art exhibitions, birthday brunches meet birthday dinners, wonder day adventures, Tramlines Festival number 5 and overall just spending time with my people!

Thank you to everyone who made July a special month of memory making! Here’s to August and those end of summer adventures!

Goodbye June, Hello July! ✨

Chapter 6 of 2026 and one that went by in the blink of an eye! From beautiful coastal walks North and South, to dreamy city sunsets, iced-coffee morning catch-ups, blue skies, a heatwave, the odd glass or two of rose meets outdoor cider season, the start of the 2026 concerts, Dutton Ranch, inspiring work projects and that much needed time away from the screen to appreciate the little things! All in all a month that kicked Summer season off in style!

Here’s to July and the fun and adventures it brings including another trip around the sun! ♋️

‘Every Summer has its own story’ 🏖️

With Summer almost officially upon us here on the Emerald Isle it’s time for those Lavender Line Photography colour palettes to help inspire your home decor this sea-serene season! Unlike with my other seasonal colour palettes I decided to focus on seascape only, as nothing says Summer quite like the beach!

From waves of oceanic blue to dusty pink, burnished lilac to burnt orange and a touch of transformative teal, there is a perfect colour combo for everyone!

‘One Ocean, One Climate, One Future — Together’ 🌊

Today marks World Ocean Day, a subject that features heavily within my photography work and one of my favourite things to capture no matter the weather, the season or the time of day. There is something so captivating about the ocean and how no two days are the same with its ever-changing waves! I think that’s what makes it the perfect subject matter for me, that element of surprise and not knowing what the final outcome will be!

I’m fortunate to live in a place that is surrounded by water and although I would love to someday live by the beach, to know that I am only a short drive away from my favourite beaches and having those simple moments of vitamin sea close by is something I don’t take for granted! It’s the best feeling, to step away from the busy everyday distractions to the calming soundtrack of the sea!

This year feels important to draw more attention to World Ocean Day, to not only respect our oceans more, but to protect them by doing our bit no matter how big or small in stopping plastic pollution to help obtain a healthier ocean allowing future generations to also enjoy the beauty of our blue planet too!

Goodbye May, Hello June!

Chapter 5 of 2026 and with it the beginnings of that Summer magic here on the Emerald Isle! From a mammoth Yellowstone binge (late to the game but fully making up for lost time) to the many adventures of the coast road, two beach-to-myself sunsets, the return of my favourite Iced French Vanilla Latte season, a new coffee shop experience, mini waves of vitamin sea and the day-today runnings at Lavender Line HQ! All in all my kind of month!

When those mini waves wash up on the printer for vitamin sea season! 🌊

An important aspect within my work has always been affordability and creating photography prints that people can own no matter their budget or wall space situation. I have personally lost count of the pieces of art I have fallen in love with over the years that unfortunately budget came into play and so the Lavender Line Photography mini mounts were created as a way for people to own their favourite photography print without breaking the bank or lack of wall space.

The mini mounts not only make for a great way of collecting Lavender Line Photography prints, they also make for the perfect size to send to that special someone, a play on the postcard if you like, and we all know how us old schoolers love collecting and sending postcards to mark each trip or special occasion!

You can find Lavender Line mini mounts available for purchase at the fabulous Storybox in East Belfast and in Whitehead showcasing many famous Northern Ireland landmarks, with hopefully more beautiful small shop locations to come once I push myself out of that comfort zone to get in touch with possible stockists!
