I remember getting my first camera, it was a small compact camera where I loaded the film and had to wind it after every photo. I have enjoyed taking photos from a young age and followed my grandfather in his footsteps. His love and enthusiasm for capturing snaps was inspirational to me and driven my passion into photography. I decided to take my photography further after graduating in Film and Me
dia from University. With this course, I found myself picking the photography modules and my inspiration sprung from there. I studied a night course in photography at Northern Regional College after university. I feel that I am progressing with every photo. I have recently been asked to be the photographer a friend’s wedding in September. Word of mouth has helped me and I have other projects lined up during 2015. Friends and family have been very supportive and this has spurred me to take my photography further. Outside of photography, I am passion about my Pendleton bicycle. I enjoy cycling (albeit in fairer weather) and this also helps me to imagine shots. I always take my camera when I go out cycling. I have a great appreciation for Northern Ireland. It’s a great country to live in work in, not to mention the beautiful scenery that is ready to be captured.
