Part 2 to the shoot breakdown.

I changed out the soft box out to get the desired harsh warm and contrasty look.
I don’t go in to the shoot blind, I have a few reference images that I keep on my phone to refer back to for mood and inspiration. Which I’ll touch on in the next video.

Part 3 will be the editing breakdown of the system I use to bring it all together.

Videography Made Simpl

Simple things to look out for to get great images, save on editing and memory card space.
Isolating your subjects helps to keep what actually matters in frame and remove distractions.
Everyone is looking for that cinematic look, it’s really simple. Before hitting record put something in the foreground, move around it, move through. A simple way of making the frame look 3D.
Find natural leading lines, it helps guide your eye through the shot.
Finally use light and shoot with intent, it is easier said than done. But knowing that you can use the majority of footage in your camera roll decreases editing and save memory card space!
