Here’s a beautiful rare photograph of the floral hall at Belfast Zoo at it’s peak when it absolutely looked beautiful and pristine. The beautiful pond and people strolling around it make the perfect postcard picture. Today it’s a shame the way the local council have left it to rot and ruin. Maybe someday it will be fully restored and we can enjoy its magnificence.

Here’s a unique and rare image of the 8th of May 1945. Crowds gather along what is Donegall place, Belfast on a beautiful sunny day to celebrate V.E DAY-Victory in Europe. The city hall is in view and you can see Navy, Army and Airforce personnel mingle among the crowds. The scene is magnificent and may never be replicated ever in the history of Northern Ireland ever again. What an absolutely beautiful photograph. What are your thoughts folks?

Another spectacular image of Donegal Square Belfast during VE Day. Auxiliary Territorial Service fast-marching in their victory parade 8th May 1945. Crowds again gather around Robinson and Clever, front of the City Hall and to your right you see the Titanic Memoral just outside the water board offices. Again the crowds are just so overwhelming. A fate we may never see in our lifetime ever again.
