I'm not really poetic enough to describe the sheer beauty of the Blue Stack Mountains in Donegal, so I'm going to simply let the photos tell the story of how Caoimhe & Gavin created this insanely beautiful wedding. They thought of everything, and threw the party to end them all. Tears, tabletop dancing, it was one of those 'you had to be there' kind of weddings.

They have such a great circle of friends, and when a groom takes time out of his day to come find you and say thank you for all you've done, it really says it all. The loveliest people, and a pleasure to spend the day with.

Like all my favourite weddings, it was elegant by day, with a whole other vibe by night. My all-time favourite entertainer Magiggs bringing the energy, and the best out in the guests. A lot of the shots will never see the light of day truth be told, I saw all sorts lol the Maghera folk like to strip off - enjoy reliving just a few of the moments from this truly fab-u-lous day!

A castle, a gorgeous little classic car, Jimmy Choo's of your dreams, Una Rodden Couture - and best of all, craic for days!

Featuring their own pub, and Clare answering the phone in it - on their wedding day! Loved rejoining Clare's fab family for the most fun day in the Glens.

We started in Carnlough, with a lovely ceremony in Clare's own chapel before popping into Glenarm Castle for family photos and portraits - finishing their day in style at Tullyglass House.

So glam, yet so fun! Loved all her little touches, spending the morning with the best girls, and partying the night away with fabulous entertainment. Loved the champagne tower too!

Tara joined me all day as second shooter, and I'm super grateful to her for her hard work. Clare & Paddy put us through our paces - it was one of the busiest wedding days I have ever seen.
Great company too with Trinity Films alongside us.

Amazing to see so many familiar faces, from hair and makeup through to SO many guests I have had the pleasure of photographing. What a joy. Congratulations you two, now to head straight to the airport for the next gorgeous wedding!

A celebration of their beautiful love story, at Drenagh Estate.

These two only met a couple of years ago, but as the groom said himself - it was love at first sight. Katie & Geoff had lots of subtle nods to their farming background, and we had a lovely little stop-off at their own barley field, on our way to the reception.

Keep your eyes peeled as you go through, for a lesson in how to do a really sophisticated spin on country-style wedding photos. In another unusual twist, this couple got married in their very own church! With a fantastic minister and it was so very special, for all of us to witness.

I might have gotten carried away once Katie told me she had her own sheep, and when the little Bo Peep Crook was produced, I was out the door with her and away down the fields!

These two are the perfect example of why I love weddings so very much. No two celebrations are ever the same. There's so much thought, planning and personality injected into each wedding day, and I get to capture it. To live it with them.

Thank you both for the privilege, and thank you also to the fabulous team at Drenagh - always elegant but never boring!
Without a doubt, it's one of the most stunning venues in all of Ireland.

An Irish Fairytale Wedding

Caoimhe & Shane at Cloughoge Chapel, followed by a reception at Bellingham Castle. Elegant & refined with fashionable touches - he wore Louboutins, she wore hand-made Italian Aquazurra heels and the fashionista's gown of dreams by Nicole Christie Bridal in Australia. It was spectacular, with all the warmth and hospitality I've come to expect from my lovely Newry Families.

Caoimhe knows quite a few of my all-time favourite brides, living close to Louise, Aishlene & Aoife - so I knew the style would be out of this world. Flawless styling by her hair & makeup artists, and I had a ball with her sisters too. Those bridesmaids gowns! Iconic all round.

Bellingham Castle was wonderful, it always is - thank you to your team for looking after us so well, and it was a pleasure to work alongside Ciaran & Gary once again - so excited to see the drone footage of this couple's arrival.

As glamorous as it gets. Also, an insta v reality kinda day, in so many ways. From the wind wreaking havoc (yet looking so chic in the photos) through to the designer heels getting switched out for sliders. Let's not forget the matching dancefloor crocs, an incredibly tight knit group of friends, and a surprise appearance from the Dunloy Priest, now up in Belfast!

Paula and Tony's wedding day has truly been a long time coming, and you really could tell how excited they both were that it had finally arrived. They're just the loveliest pair together, and I feel so glad they chose me to be with them, on this their most precious of days. Our bride Paula was so stunning, with a dress I could honestly have played with for days.

Fab families, so much love from their super fun friends (dance-off in the corridors kinda ppl), and some cool chats for me too. Did you know one of the worlds most expensive cameras was made in Belfast? A fascinating bit of trivia from Paula's very clever cousin. Speaking of guests, these two hit the jackpot... from their gorgeous cake to the transport, their friends and family all got involved and made it so special.

Have the best time in Greece - can't wait to see you both again soon. Here are a few little moments I captured on your day.

A soft & pretty barn wedding, on the beautiful coast road in NI.

Sarah & Jamie got married in the most relaxed wedding of the year so far. I really do love when couples get ready, get married and celebrate their reception all in the same location, it's just perfect for a blissfully chilled out day with loved ones.

Heather & Tom, with their family-run venue are exceptional hosts, the food is incredible (they start serving up canapés literally as soon as the guests join the receiving line - and it is SO delish) and the palm tree lined estate is perfect for the photos too.
It really is a barn with a difference! Giving a lovely 'destination-wedding' feel in NI.

It was a day with many bittersweet moments, loved ones who are no longer here were in the hearts of the families, but Sarah paid such lovely tribute through the most precious little details, and as we walked out together just after saying I do, a little robin flew right up to the closest tree. Sarah's gown featured art deco lace, another nod to her father's work as an architect on buildings like The Merchant Hotel. Isn't she gorgeous in it.

Debbie & Hannah couldn't have been more helpful, and the kids at the wedding were front and centre of all that was going on - and absolutely loved sailing around on the back of owner Tom's vintage tractor and trailer! Memories to last a lifetime!

I also loved chatting to a couple of photographers who were attending as guests, one of whom was filming lots of the little moments throughout the day for our lovely couple too. It's always lovely to meet other pro's at weddings.

Louise & Joe 🍾

A complete showstopper of a wedding, in the dazzling Bellingham Castle! This one had it all... Magiggs, Muddlers Club, insanely good food and drinks, and a stunning looking couple.

I've spent almost a week in bed, trying to get ready for it after falling very sick, and I was delighted this wedding was such high energy, because the atmosphere picked me up and carried me all the way through to a midnight finish!

Louise and Joe sure know how to throw a shindig, (he also has impressive choice in Cartier) and I know I won't be the only one who'll talk about the epic party at this wedding for years to come. I even had to put my foot down with Louise's daddy who came to try and steal them from me lol!

What.a.vibe 💄

City streets, warm sunshine, Jamie Dorman himself - all the makings of a truly fabulous Belfast wedding. Danielle & David are quite shy, so the cathedral quarter was a bit of a baptism of fire for this low-key pair but they took it all in their stride. Horns honking, cheers, whoops, and jaws dropping as David dropped Danielle back for an absolutely amazing photo - it was surreal.

It was a day full of incredibly sweet moments - like when Danielle's best friend saw her in her gown & the tears came streaming down. There were many more happy tears throughout the ceremony in particular. Steve conducted a really heartfelt hand fasting, and all in all the day was full of such lovely little touches that reflected them as a couple, their values and what mattered most to them.

Special thanks to the incredible team at The Merchant Hotel, I was truly made to feel so welcome, and I was impressed by their attention to detail and commitment to the couple having an exceptional experience. I'd highly recommend them to any couple getting married.

SIMPLY STUNNING

Her wedding was exactly what I thought it would be, elegant, super pretty and all about their fantastic families 🤍 in one of my favourite venues.

It was wonderful to be welcomed back into the McErlaine family again, and a pleasure to meet Declan's family for the first time. A beautiful mass by Monsignor, who traveled from Limavady to celebrate the wedding with both families was followed by their reception in Ballymena. The speeches reflected how much both bride and groom are thought of by their loved ones, and local communities - such kind words and Declan's speech in particular was just lovely.

The warmth and hospitality at Tullyglass house is second to none, and I absolutely love their refined interiors & decor - it's such an incredible venue for wedding photographs. Many thanks to Shirley and Frank for making it a brilliant day for us all.

A definitive switch in style for Darina and James' big day, gone were the festive shades and in came the most beautiful palette of berry shades.

The personal touches made it so special - from the vintage mercedes her daddy Damian drove her to the chapel in, through to the gorgeous little boxes her sister Colleen had lovingly prepared for her 'something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue' details in. It was actually so well put together we were ready to start the ceremony before 1pm! A real first.

Darina, it has been such a pleasure choosing these photos for your preview, what a wedding day! From the amazing music in your chapel from Eilis Fox, right through to that incredible cake your wedding style was impeccable and your warmth shines through every single image.

A true style Queen 😍 Mary-Ellen you were the ultimate sophisticated and Christmassy Bride...

That crown (loved it so much), the deep crimson reds in your details, and your designer gown were all just stunning.

This bride is all about family, from having all of her brothers walk her sisters up the aisle in the processional, to building her entire day around what everyone else would enjoy, she is one of the kindest girls I have ever photographed. Any wonder the guest list was huge, both Mary-Ellen and & Cialam are super popular for good reason. And her speech was hands down thee speech of the day.

As a couple they are just a dream, so easy to work with and Jamie from Dropped Frame Films and I had such a chilled out day with all their loved ones. She wanted relaxed fun photos, lots of family photos, and we got the most beautiful light with just moments to spare.

As glamorous as it gets 🍾

A festive wedding to DAZZLE - there are no words for how much I crush on my December couples. They give me everything I love, fairy lights, champagne, sparkle everywhere I turn - and Ciara and James had the ultimate in black-tie style.

Look at that girl, in that gown, WOW ✨

When the fragrance bottle matches his tux, I know the level of planning that went into the day. The Rolex, the Vogue box, and the Yeooo DJ set all sum up their glam & party-loving vibes, tbh this wedding couldn't have been more me if I had planned it myself.

Ballymagarvey Village is of course the perfect setting for the winter wedding of dreams, with stunning lighting installations and delicious fine dining. Every time I come here it's a real fun crowd too, the perfect place to say 'I Do' if you like to let your hair down.
