WHAT A TRIP.
I genuinely think this was one of those trips that just can’t be replicated. It started off by racing a plane from the UK — spoiler alert: we won… by 10 minutes.
We went to Ultrace Germany, which was class, but then on the second day I woke up and realised my car had been towed 😀 A trip to the police station, then a random compound, and €240 later, I finally had it back. Turns out it got towed because there was a marathon on and that our Airbnb host didn't mention about needing to move it 🕺
We then found some absolutely dope bike leathers on Facebook Marketplace, so we ended up driving to Essen to collect them for Mia.
To wrap the whole trip up, we headed to the Nürburgring for my first ever time there, and wow… it did not disappoint. The feeling of driving on a track you’ve seen in so many videos and played on in games is just crazy. Scary — very, very scary — but amazing.
Oh, and if you’re ever in Düsseldorf, go get some Mini Pizzas (that’s literally what the place is called). I’m addicted to them already.
