Our Lives: Guardian of the Night
BBC One, tonight at 7pm.

Had the absolute joy of working with the amazing team at Cwmni Da on the BBC Our Lives episode Guardian of the Night. 🌌

The episode follows my incredible friend Dani Robertson, the UK’s first Dark Sky Officer, as she fights to protect our precious night skies. 🌠

You might spot another familiar face too - I make a little appearance chatting about my love for astrophotography.

Alongside that, I also shot the title image for the episode, as well as a few behind-the-scenes stills from our time out filming.

A tad bit surreal seeing it all come to life on screen!

Tomorrow, I'm heading to Ynys Enlli / Bardsey Island, Europe’s first designated International Dark Sky Sanctuary✨

I’ll be leading a three night astrophotography workshop, where I'll be sharing the magic of capturing the night sky with a wonderful group of women equally passionate about photography!

Here's a little throwback to La Palma, when I was lucky enough to capture a meteor beneath the Milky Way amongst all the Saharan dust.

🌌✨ Despite battling the Saharan dust, we were still able to witness and capture the breathtaking beauty of the Milky Way from Llano Del Jable, an Astronomical viewpoint on the stunning isle of La Palma!

The sky and the landscape there were unlike anything I'd ever seen!

🌌✨ Er gwaethaf brwydro yn erbyn llwch y Sahara, roedd harddwch y Llwybr Llaethog yn dal i'w weld uwchben Llano Del Jable, golygfan seryddol ar yr ynys La Palma.

A roedd yr awyr a'r tirwedd yno yn wahanol i unrhyw beth a welais erioed!
