A good day out recently photographing two Cala Homes developments at Mansfield Lea, East Calder and and Longbanks Green, Dunbar.

After waiting around four weeks for the right weather window, it was good to finally get both sites photographed while the Scottish weather played ball.

The brief was to capture updated development imagery, including completed street scenes, showhome exteriors, sales environments and wider site context — helping give potential buyers a real feel for the place, not just the properties.

Developments move on quickly, so fresh imagery can make a big difference. Streets change, landscaping matures, new phases complete, and older marketing images can soon fall behind what is actually on site.

Great to work with Cala again and to visit both developments on the same day.

Really pleased to share a selection of recent photographs taken for Cala Homes across Aberdeenshire, Edinburgh and the Lothians.

Over the last year I’ve photographed around 18 of their ongoing developments, and it’s always rewarding to see the images being used in their marketing material – helping showcase the quality of their homes and bringing each development to life.

A big thank you to Cala Homes for the opportunity – looking forward to capturing more projects in the future!

I was back at THE LEMOND GALLERY last week to photograph and create a virtual walk through of their latest show, exhibiting the work of Colin Wilson, Samantha McCubbin Artist & Mike Healey.

It's another great collection of work including landscapes, floral collections and super realistic detailed pieces.
