Very much looking forward to my stall at the Hastings Dog Fun Day Out next Saturday (25th April). Chosen a few images for my display and just working out exactly how to arrange them.

Come down and say hello. I'll be on the stall from 10 -12 before I start wandering around capturing some images for the organisers. Someone else will be there between 12 and 4 to greet you and answer any questions while I am otherwise engaged.

Greg !!! My favourite Podenco x Staffy was back for the Autumn leg of his "Four Seasons" shoot.

Unfortunately you also have my ugly mug as Greg's human always nags me to get some bts - which I always promptly forget, but she was there for this so I have no excuse!

From the short video as well you can get the idea that any hope of retaining dignity is left at the door once the shoot starts.

Final shots from the Autumn minishoot at Croham Hurst Woods.

Now looking forward to the minishoots at Kingswood in Surrey and in Battle for the bluebells. The first ones are just emerging and I will announce dates soon - you can always get a gang of friends together and dm me to make your own private shoot?

Bunti is only a pup still so it was a case of lots of leash editing - can you see where??

Also, his hair covered one of his eyes - always worth having a little spruce up before a session. A little bit of work in post came to the rescue!

Due to a mix up with directions he had to share his session with another dog but we managed to get photos of both and stay on track. It did mean I had to work quickly with each location but Bunti did brilliantly for such a young pup!

So October!

Having decided that there was "no way I'm going to get another dog for a while" because losing them is just too painful I saw a post in a group that a young pup sadly needed to be rehomed.

After seeing lots of messages from people who would like to take her but couldn't I went to meet her and.........
.......welcome to the Bloomfield family Valkyrie!!!

She was already named Valerie and given I love a bit of Norse mythology and she is such a fearsome female warrior (3.2kg ringing wet) I thought it would not confuse her and be shortened to Kyrie eventually - which actually took about half a day!

I was fortunate enough to have a golf break with old work colleagues and a holiday with my gorgeous wife in September so not a lot of work going on. I did still manage to meet some dogs at the stunning Lake Bled!

A slight reversion to my dogwalking days when I received a request for a bit of a "mercy mission". A hospital operation for their owners and their usual minder being unable to help meant I had the opportunity to look after these two beauties for a couple of days.

Couldn't resist the opportunity to grab a few shots at the same time.
