Durdle Door proposal & engagement photography | Carol & Jennifer 🤎
A few days before the proposal, I drove to Durdle Door to scout the location.
It was one of the hottest days of the year and the beach was absolutely packed. I spent a couple of hours walking along the cliffs, trying to find areas that would feel more private.
I checked where the sun would rise and set, which way they’d walk so Jennifer would get that beautiful first view of the coastline, and what we’d do if it was windy or raining. The answer to that last one was basically… nothing.
There’s nowhere to hide. No shelter. Just cliffs, sea and whatever the weather decides to do.
A few days later, Carol and Jennifer travelled all the way from the US. It was their first time visiting this part of England. And of course, it was windy and grey.
Not exactly the weather you imagine when planning a proposal by the sea. But I loved it. The cliffs, the messy hair, the mood of it all :) it was beautiful 🧡💚♥️
