If you want more time at your reception with family and friends, ask about how long group shots and couple portraits take. Typically, if you have 1.5-2 hours between your ceremony and wedding breakfast (pretty standard), you ‘ll want to know how quickly we can get through the important shots. Here is my usual timeline:
• Group shots: 15-20 minutes for 5-8 groups
• Couple portraits: 20-30 minutes
That leaves 30-40 minutes for candid shots. Keep in mind, the longer your guests gather, the longer it takes.

Make sure you know when and how you get your photos. Will your guests be able to download them easily?

Ask about any extra fees. If albums are included, find out how many spreads or pages come with the package. 50-70 pages is a good range; fewer than 40 might require an upgrade.
𝟰. 𝗗𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗽𝗵𝗼𝘁𝗼𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮 𝗼𝗿 𝗲𝗹𝘀𝗲𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲?
If you prefer to keep your photos private, mention this upfront. Some photographers rely on sharing content to book future weddings.

Feeling relaxed is key to natural photos! Ask how the photographer helps you feel at ease throughout the day. I guide my couples, chat with them, play some music and shoot in between moments.

Life happens! Make sure your photographer has a backup plan (e.g., a trusted photographer they can recommend).
⚡️When chatting with your wedding photographer, pay attention to the vibe. If you feel connected, relaxed, and enjoy the conversation that Is a good sign! I do my best work when couples trust me, and we can joke and chat. It’s a key for natural, authentic photos.
