Hello and good afternoon,
The following images were taken recently on a great day out to the south coast last weekend to visit two places that are within a short distance of each other. The photos are posted in the order that they were taken, which involved walking down the left hand side of Hengistbury Head along the edge of Christchurch harbour and then picking up the usual pathway or sandy road to walk down to Mudeford (pronounced Muddyford) sandbank. From this location Mudeford Quay can be viewed. To visit you can either drive round through Christchurch or nip over on one of the small ferries regularly operating. After taking a few more shots at the beach huts, I then walked back on the other side of Hengistbury Head, which is the beach and sea area. Hence a photo of the headland itself appears a little later on. The final four images were taken on Christchurch Quay, which is around a ten minute drive from the car park by the headland. More than well worth a visit!
As always, many thanks for viewing and for both your continued interest and support.
