Tintern and the lower Wye Valley area is the inauspicious location where modern industry sprang up. In a valley close to here are the remains of the wireworks. Brass was first created here in 1568 and the blast furnace, operating around the clock, was one of the first industries to use a shift system.

13th century Tintern Abbey from the Devil's Pulpit. Legend has it that the devil preached to the monks below, trying to tempt them to desert their order.

This gorgeous viewpoint is located on Offa's D**e Path, a National Trail splitting Wales from England. The history and magic here is tangible, and it's one of my favourite places in the world 🌍🌄📷

I'm back! After a longer than expected break to work on my other projects, I've returned to sprinkle some beauty on your feed.

To kick things off, let me introduce you to Tintern Abbey, situated along the Wye Valley in Wales. The Wye Valley is the birthplace of modern tourism and industry and has inspired poets such as Wordsworth. The history here is just astounding, and the ruins make for picturesque images! The abbey itself was destroyed during Henry VIII's dissolution of the monasteries. 🏞️

Here's a little experiment I did during a solo excursion to Wales last year. You can get a completely different, dreamy image with a slow shutter speed. It spices up what could otherwise be a pretty standard, even boring, image.

I'm looking forward to seeing what I can do with this concept...

Say hello to this gorgeous Northern Crested Caracara (Cara Cara Crestado Norteño) having a snuggle with its friend. This particular bird unfortunately has one eye and so resides in the Amaru Zoológico Bioparque, a conservation organisation located in the mountains above Cuenca. Luckily these native Andeans aren't endangered and their population is on the rise! 🦅

Welcome to Cuenca, Ecuador. I took this shot on my phone during the first walking tour of my travels. This was a private courtyard, with a view up to the Catedral de la Inmaculada Concepción. The light up in the high mountains is truly stunning
