Breaking News! - we have added extra days to our Photography Exhibition in Festival Place in Basingstoke. We will now be open Wednesdays to Sundays from the 5th June to the 28th June.

Our first day open to the public will be Friday 5th June. Come along to Festival Place (next to the Apple store) to see over 100 of our members fantastic images professionally printed by our sponsors CEWE and speak to our members about what we do. Entry is Free!

There are just over two weeks until the Basingstoke Camera Club exhibition opens in Festival Place! See 100+ amazing images from club photographers (such as the one below), plus our Wall of Fame celebrating recent award winners. CEWE, who are sponsoring Basingstoke Camera Club's annual photography exhibition have just launched their seventh CEWE Photo Award under the motto “Our world is beautiful”. There are 1000 prizes worth over £200,000!

CEWE are encouraging photography enthusiasts from around the world to capture their view of the beauty that surrounds them and are keen for our members, friends and family to enter.

An international jury, chaired by British photographer Christie Goodwin, will select the winning images.

Participants can submit their images in the following 10 categories and the Young Talent Award (for 16–25-year-olds) offer a wide range of opportunities to showcase photographic work.

Basingstoke Camera Club held their Annual Awards Dinner last week. Over 60 members and partners joined us at the Basingstoke Country Hotel to celebrate this season’s photographic achievements. Huge congratulations to all our award winners, and a special thank you to our special guests, Mayor Cllr Colin Phillimore and SCPF President Stewart Lacey. A fitting bookend to the Mayor’s term, which began with opening our 2025 exhibition.

Even more special was the Award presented to active club member Keith Polwin for his 50th Anniversary with the club.

Basingstoke Camera Club is excited to announce its Annual Photography Exhibition being held in June!

We are incredibly honoured that CEWE, Europe’s leading photo printing company has again offered to sponsor the event by printing our images on large professional exhibition mounts.

Basingstoke Camera Club is celebrating two big wins at the International Garden Photographer of the Year (IGPOTY) awards.

🌸 Sabine Tillie-Davidson took 1st place in the Portfolio category with her Ikebana‑inspired dahlia portraits, and

🌿 Leena Roy added another accolade by receiving a highly commended award after also winning in 2024.

A fantastic showcase of the creativity and talent within our club.
