I was recently asked by the lovely .wellness to donate a photoshoot to the raffle she’s organising as part of the upcoming Baby Fayre, raising money for PANDAS South Cumbria in loving memory of Clare.

I absolutely wanted to support it, but then I thought… I have thousands of lovely people following my work on here. What if, instead of simply adding my photoshoot to the raffle, we could use this little community to raise even more? 🤍

So I’m giving away a full Forest & Fern Photography photoshoot — maternity, newborn or motherhood.

To enter, simply comment a 🤍 below. Entry is completely free.

But please, if you are able to donate, I would REALLY love you to.

There are nearly 5,000 of you here. Imagine if even a small number of us donated £1, £2 or £5. Those little donations could quickly turn into something that makes a genuine difference.

You don’t need a studio to create beautiful newborn photographs.

You just need to know how to see the light.

Every image in this gallery was created in this family’s home, using the natural light already there. No studio lights. No elaborate props. No asking you to leave the comfort of those early newborn days.

Because your baby’s first home matters too.

The bed where you spend endless hours cuddling. The window that fills the room with soft morning light. The little moments between feeds, naps and yawns. That’s what I look for.

Creating beautiful in-home newborn galleries isn’t about having a picture-perfect house. It’s about understanding light, connection and how to tell your family’s story in a way that feels honest.

There’s something about becoming a big brother. 🤍

A little more noise. A little more chaos. A little less sleep.

But somehow, your heart makes room for even more love.

Your home doesn’t have to be perfect, your baby doesn’t have to be days old, and life certainly doesn’t have to feel “together.” The moments that matter are the ones that are real—the cuddles, the curious little kisses, the way they already belong to each other.

This little one was a little older, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. Because it’s never about the age. It’s about the connection you’ll want to remember forever.

Every family has their own story.

No two babies are the same. No two families love in quite the same way. That’s why no two sessions I photograph ever look alike.

This session was full of laughter, a beautiful baby boy, and a dog determined to steal the spotlight. 🤍 Those little moments are what make your gallery yours—and the memories you’ll smile at for years to come.

This is why motherhood sessions will always have my heart. 🤍

Because I know these are the moments you’ll miss.

The way they reach for your face.
The weight of them in your arms.
The kisses you didn’t ask for.
The look they give you when you’re their whole world.

As a mum myself, I know these aren’t just photos. They’re the moments you’ll wish you could step back into years from now.

There’s something so special about one mother capturing another. I know what I’d want to remember, so that’s exactly what I’m looking for through my lens.
