I'm Adam Murray, who lives in Barrow-In-Furness, Cumbria. I was born here but moved away when I was 20 to join the military and I've now been back in Barrow 3 years. My main passion is Hiking. After moving back to the Lake District I got back into exploring the outdoors and where my love of Photography began. My Photography has mainly consisted of Landscape images, where

My interest then moved onto more Portrait Photography and i took the plunge to advertise for family shoots, where I was met with hundreds of interested families. Well, Saturdays wedding was a bit special.

Amazing to be back at this amazing venue.

And what a super relaxed and fun day. Everyone at this wedding was there to have a great time and to see Jessica & Scott tie the knot and make sure they have the best day possible, and that’s what they had.

Met some lovely people, and had a great time with the groom and lads there to. Couldn’t have asked for a better day as well to shoot at this stunning venue, so happy to be back, and can’t wait to be back later in the year as well.

3 weddings, over 3 weeks and all at and I couldn’t be happier to be shooting so much at this amazing venue.

Just on the edge of Windermere is this stunning stunning venue, perfectly ran, super chilled and couldn’t recommend them enough. So if you’re looking for a barn venue, look no further.

Anyways, shout out to this lovely couple who tied the knot last week who had such a beautiful day with their family and friends.

Last week I was second shooting at Townhead, week before that, at Townhead, and now this Saturday, at Townhead again.

Very thankful to be visiting so much at the moment, not only is it ran perfectly, but, it’s a secret favourite of mine as well 🤫

Also, working alongside as well. Been a minute since we last worked together, so another reason why I’m looking forward to Saturdays wedding 📸

I haven’t shown my face on here for a while, so to all my new followers, I’m Adam, or AJ.Photography 👋

I’m a full time wedding photographer who lives near the Lake District, but travels all over the UK when needed. I set up AJ.Photography 6 years ago, but very thankful to say this has now been my full time job for 3 years.

Around 400 weddings shot, from intimate elopements to a wedding last year which had 250 guests.

I’m super chilled on a wedding day, the last thing anyone needs is a photographer who’s stressed. I’m not a big posey photographer and very big on natural is best. I want you to feel like I’m a friend, but with a camera which in turn makes everyone feel comfortable in-front of the camera to get those beautiful natural photos.

What’s my favourite part of a wedding day? My favourite part is taking the couple out for those portraits, and, the confetti photo with all your guests.

About me.

When I left school I joined the army, then spent 8 years at Aldi as part of the management team and now, full time wedding photographer so a very varied past. Isn’t It weird what you end up doing 📸 But, I love my business and so thankful for every single one of my past and future couples who give me the opportunity to do what I love 🙏

I Love music, all types of music from Linkin Park, to Oasis to country music and can be found at multiple gigs and festivals every year. I try to be outside as much as I can. Living near the Lakes means I have paddle boarding, hiking and camping on my door step.

I’m a big believer of work hard, play hard. Life’s too short, and you can’t take money with you. So me and my partner Chelsie like to travel when we can, we spent all of last November travelling around Thailand, which was the best trip I’ve ever been on and already looking into the next one.

Also, on a wedding day I need coffee, and multiple coffees as well ☕️

I’m not the best at talking about myself, but, that’s me in a nutshell 👋🏼
