39 weeks of growing you & one step closer to Connie meeting her little best friend forever. 🤍
It’s not often I’m on the other side of the camera, but I promised myself that this time I would capture these moments. My last bump, my little family of three, and this beautiful chapter of our lives before we become a family of four. The last-minute outfits, teaching my little sis how to use my camera, finding a beautiful little spot close to home, and simply being together. Nothing perfect or planned — just us. ✨
So here’s me — a mum of 2-to-be, a part-time mental health nurse & photographer. I’m often juggling life, but honestly, I wouldn’t have it any other way. 📷🩺🏥
Our beautiful little Connie is the whole reason my photography business exists. After she was born, we were sadly let down by our photographer, and my sister suggested, “Why don’t you try and do your own?”
At the time, I remember thinking, this isn’t going to turn out well… But it turned out to be the best decision I ever made. That one little suggestion led me to this wonderful adventure — something that has become so much more than I ever imagined. 🤍
I’ll be taking a few months of maternity leave from Shannon Burgin Photography to step back, slow down and fully soak up this special time with my family. I’m hoping to be back behind the camera around November, ready to capture more beautiful families again. Please do feel free to message me in the meantime with any queries. I’ll still be checking my inbox throughout my maternity leave, although replies may be a little slower than usual.
Thank you for all the love, support, bookings, recommendations and kind messages you’ve given me since this journey began. You’ve helped me turn something I love into a business, and that’s something I’ll be forever grateful for. 💫
Lots of love, Shannon Burgin Photography 🤍
