Here’s a snippet of our conversation, speaking all things Art, politics and Barnsleys success. Not to mention all the support from organisations such as who have played an instrumental part in my own creative career as an associate artist.

We are so fortunate in Barnsley, let’s hope that we can keep up the good momentum despite the current worries.

Human animal-
Short film.

This piece was made especially for my solo exhibition ‘Human Animal’ whilst in residence at the

It was a response to the time, the feelings…The helplessness felt by cognitive dissonance. The anger, the guilt, the beauty of it all.
-I originally planned a film piece, down to the shots. It just wasn’t working, then right at the last moment as we prepared for install, this angry piece of writing became my lead. I’m grateful of the space I have right now, being able to create works like this is a dream.
