Always wanted to try and grow a Mango tree... So what better time to try it when the seed has already starred to sprout inside the actual Mango 😍.
Removed it from its husk going to soak it for a but to encourage it. Then plant it inside, time will tell, fingers crossed it grows and does well 🤞.

MEET YOUR CALENDAR CREATORS!

Say hello to Yvonne (left) and Michelle (right). They are two of our fantastic and wonderful team of volunteers that we at Morndyke are lucky to have. We asked them to photograph to their hearts content and come up with a calendar for us and we think they did a great job, we hope you do too! We sold all 53 calendars which has given us a little Christmas money so thank you to everyone who bought one for supporting us!

A little bit about Yvonne and Michelle. They have been friends for many years after working together as veterinary assistants. Both are incredibly passionate about animals, photography and parrots of course! Michelle even has a few rescue parrots at home too. Both have their own photography pages on facebook, Yvonne Welsh Photography and M. L. Sargieson Photography.

2024 calendars, inside you will find a variety of the beautiful rescue parrots at Morndyke Parrot Sanctuary!
Images have been captured by myself M L Sargieson Photography and Yvonne Welsh Photography. We have managed to sell a whopping 49 calendars in just a couple of weeks!! We have one left for sale, we are happy to make a potential list for anyone who would like one. We would need at least 10 calendars on the list to be able to print more. Thank you to everyone who has purched a calendar, all the profits gained will go towards the care of the parrots at this wonderful charity.

So today was amazing, saw various bird species and Kingfishers, I got emotional as for a long time now ive wanted to get a good photo of one. Well today I saw a pair of them, flying about and they managed to land near where I was stood. Bearing in mind that these images as they are not edited and some animals far away especially the kingfishers.
