I use light to capture the beauty in nature .
“All my photos are copyright protected, so no commercial use or printing without permission. Hi, my name is Liane and I am a photographer /artist with a love for candid captures! I specialize in landscapes, seascapes and cityscapes but also dabble in portraiture, advertising, macro, abstract and studio work. Down and have spent many years exploring loc

al areas and producing photographs of some of our well known landmarks. My personal goal is to preserve time and make memories stay put. I use light to capture the beauty in nature and the magic in the Sun, the Moon and the Seasons. I have an appetite for the taste of the unknown and the smell of home. I wander a path guided by willing feet……. …and my desire is to bring you with me through the images that I produce. While I am always interested in new tools and techniques, I adopt a more organic, artistic approach to illuminating my subjects. I hope that you enjoy my images and that they may also inspire you to visit some of the many beautiful locations that we have in Northern Ireland.

Making a quick stop at Flavour First in Donaghadee to deliver some gift packs. It is so great to see it starting to fill up again with delicious produce along with local artwork. So much thanks to the Donnan family for promoting local producers and creatives. I did have to get a box of yummy bakes from 'Nibble and Peck'. Just could not resist so out goes the diet for today at least.

With all the rain that we have been having recently I have missed my sunrise walks however sometimes the sun can win for a moment and give a little wink through the rainclouds. I will maybe think about having a little walk tomorrow. Bangor, Co. Down.

Sadly its still raining in Co. Down but sometimes the sun can give a little unexpected wink when you least expect it. I will keep watching and waiting for a little light. This lovely sunrise scene was taken in Waterfoot on the Antrim coast a while back. Much cloud and rain but this brief moment made me smile. Have a wonderful day everyone.

Needing to stretch my legs I took a short walk along the pier between the showers to check out the reflections in the puddles. Quite surreal. I managed to get home befire the next downpour. Bangor, Co. Down.

The rain is still going strong but the surprise of a little rainbow cheered me up quite a bit. Bangor, Co. Down.

Oh my goodness the rain has been relentless today in Bangor, Co. Down. I did laugh when i saw the bottle of sun tan lotion outside on the table. I somehow think that I wont be needing it today. I think Arnie has the right idea by taking 50 winks indoors.
