Garden birds
All taken last weekend while sitting in the garden briefly.
The rooks are proper clowns along with their friends the jackdaws
The starlings are stunning as are the greenfinch, goldfinch and bluetit. Lets not forget the little sparrows who have some beautiful markings as well.
The wren and dunnock were elusive as always.

Two years ago on the 11th may we had the most amazing aurora. Literally dashed out of the house with my pj's on camera and tripod in hand and just shot the sky above, infront, and behind me. Unreal !

A lovely boat trip to the Farne Islands today. Light was a little flat thanks to the cloud and spot or two of rain, but still enjoyed getting up close and personal with the birds that have arrived for the breeding season.

A few from yesterdays Kielder rally, a mixed bag of weather with some very heavy showers but a great turnout of spectators, some lovely cars, a few spills and some great company.

Happiness is...freedom fields ...a spot of dog photography yesterday with my very own subjects Piglet and Bear.

Bear is allowed to be muzzle free in a private field as long as they are insured for banned breeds. Its the best £10 that we spend on him each week ❤️

World wildlife day
I'm by no means a wildlife photographer but love to observe it where ever we may wander in the van. So heres a few snaps I've taken over the years to celebrate our glorious wildlife habitats from local gardens to our amazing coastlines and forests.
