From an unexpected trip to St Mary's for sunrise after a night of no sleep due to the heat.It was shockingly busy down there at 3.30am so guess quite a few people couldn't sleep either.

Found some poppies in Northumberland. With them being under the train tracks the photography turned into a "waiting for trains" session and we were rewarded with 2 trains going different directions as our "last" train of the day.

Bonus picture of the new best friend we made who was agressively friendly and stayed with us for at least an hour while demanding pets. It took the best part of that hour to get him/her to sit still long enough to get a photo so it's far from my best.

Last night was the one night with no real good sunset light but some confetti hearts left scattered by some people at the Angel provided some interest instead.

I think it was biodegradable as it was paper, but we picked it all up and put it in the bin after we were done anyway!
