More Red mammals but this time it’s the beautiful Cushendun Reds. Filled my feeders yesterday evening and when I checked this morning the Hazelnuts were gone so I knew it wouldn’t be too long before they were back for more. Had 2 at the same time this evening and they behaved themselves so no fighting with them each having a feeder to themselves. What a privilege to get to see these beautiful little creatures.

A few sessions with this little lady over the last few evenings. All the nights standing in the dark with a torch to feed her over the year have payed off as she is now completely comfortable with me in her presence. She has been happy enough to feed within a few feet of me now, I had been using my 500mm to get my images but have had to put my 135mm on as she’s coming too close for the longer lens.

Finally got to tick this amazing location off the bucket list. What a spot, well worth the 5 hours drive down to come up on top of the cliffs and this view is there to greet you. Been wanting to visit for as long as I can remember. It was very windy and I was taking refuge behind the wall to be able to stand up and get these images so didn’t get to explore the whole area but we’ll be back I’m sure

Had the privilege of going on a trip over to the beautiful Isle of Mull on 16/07/25. Started with an early ferry on the Aquaholics boat from Ballycastle at 8:00am. It was a 5 hour journey across to Mull but the weather was beautiful and the sea conditions perfect as we travelled amongst the Islands on our way up to Mull. We arrived and immediately got onboard the Mull Charters boat and off we went. We were treated to 8 dives in total which was a great reward for the long journey.

Took a run up to Belfast International to see the Arrows as they departed and arrived, great being able to get as close as I did as they took off. While waiting on their return I was treated to a USAF C17 and a private jet.
