A short story about me...
I’m a local lad to the Peak District National Park, being brought up on my family’s farm in Bakewell, Derbyshire. The farm on the Haddon Hall estate was home to a dairy herd, a flock of sheep, and crops grown to feed our animals. An important conservation scheme encouraged the precious population of threatened lapwings high on the limestone plateau where traditional stone walls crisscrossed the many footpaths. Art and creativity has caught my interest from the very beginning, buying my first camera at a young age, and my love of photography continues to the present day. The inspiration of the beautiful landscape of the Peak District and the people who live and visit here are evident in my portfolio. My joyful disposition and a good sense of humour can sometimes be glimpsed! Another great interest is Ultra Fell running which takes me to the most dramatic places in the UK, feeling the country beneath me with every stride. I enjoy making new acquaintances and being invited to be part of celebrations - capturing forevermore pivotal events in my clients’ lives such as weddings, birthdays, family celebrations - and can promise to tailor my photography to your specific needs, your hopes and desires.
