Just sat watching the harrowing scenes in the Ukraine. How can this be happening in this day & age?
All profits this weekend are going to help the families of the Ukraine. The Market Pub stands united against oppression. We stand with the people, and the hope that peace can be achieved. God bless✊✊✊

Well deserved break at Fischer's...back soon!

To give our team a well-deserved rest, we are now closed until the 29th of September. We are so grateful to have such a hard-working team and we hope they have a lovely two weeks relaxing and recharging 💝

Consistently excellent cookery from Samuel Fox - the Peak District is very fortunate to have such a wonderful restaurant in its midst. 👍

Last night's dinner special, pan fried haunch of venison with roasted hispi cabbage, colcannon and blackberry & red wine sauce.

At 6pm today we open our doors for our weekend of dry runs. We are fully booked with our ‘guinea pigs’ tonight and tomorrow.

Our bar will be open. If you are passing and wish to drop in for a drink (or general nosy) it would be lovely to meet our locals.
