There are weekends… and then there are weekends that feel like stepping sideways into another world entirely

Still carrying the warmth of campfires, the sound of distant drums, laughter in the rain, muddy boots, candlelight, wandering souls, and the kind of conversations that somehow feel ancient and brand new all at once.

For a few days, the world softened. People smiled at strangers, magic felt close to the surface, and I got to exist without armour, apology, or performance.

I came home exhausted, slightly windswept, smelling faintly of smoke and incense… and happier than I’ve felt in a very long time.

Thank you to every beautiful soul who shared a smile, a story, a ritual, a drink, a dance, or simply a moment beneath the same strange sky

A full day wandering through the soul of Whitby, wrapped in sea spray and stories.

From the ghostly silhouette of Whitby Abbey towering over the rooftops, to the lighthouse standing watch where land gives way to ocean - every scene felt like a page from a windswept novel.

The 199 steps still echo with the footfalls of pilgrims and poets.
Piers stretching like fingers into the grey, holding back something ancient beneath the waves.

This place doesn’t just look atmospheric... it is atmosphere. Every gust of wind and flash of cloud has a voice. You don’t visit Whitby - you let it draw you in.

All photos edited in moody monochrome to match the weather and the wild romance of this coastal gem.

Let me know which one speaks to your soul most...
