The clapper bridge at Postbridge on Dartmoor. First recorded in 1380, it was built to facilitate the transportation of tin to Tavistock. Its slabs are over 4 metres long and 2 metres wide, and weigh over 8 tons each!

Just some of the hot air balloons during the early morning masss ascent on the Sunday of the Midlands Air Festival 2026. The conditions were perfect, with just a very light breeze that meant many of the balloons stayed very nearby, and some even did a circuit and landed almost exactly back where they had taken off.

What a great time at the Midlands Air Festival this weekend. The weather was kind, the displays were fabulous, and time was spent with a wonderful bunch of like-minded people in 'COAP Corner'. This is my first image of what I'm sure will be many - the Polish Mig17 during its first UK flying display since being rebuilt.
