Celebrating the people shaping what comes next ✨

We recently joined BBC Asian Network for Rising Roots 2026, an evening celebrating South Asian trailblazers, the individuals making an impact within their communities and the voices shaping the future of leadership.

Under the theme Unity in Diversity, the evening brought together brilliant people from across the South Asian community to celebrate culture, connection, achievement and what it means to lead and create change.

And of course, we were there to capture the moments 📸

We brought our DSLR experience to the event, creating a bespoke photo template and custom props designed around Rising Roots and the wider celebration.

Events like this are exactly why we love what we do. The photobooth might capture the photo, but it’s the people, conversations and energy in the room that make the memories.

This event reminded us that awareness isn’t just about showing up for one evening. It’s about what we do afterwards.

🧡 Check your breasts regularly. There’s no perfect day or technique. The important thing is getting familiar with what’s normal for you.

🧡 Look as well as feel. Changes can include a new lump, swelling, changes in skin texture, dimpling, redness, or changes to your ni**le.

🧡 If something doesn’t feel right, don’t ignore it. Most breast changes won’t be cancer, but it’s always worth speaking to your GP and getting checked.

A huge thank you to for creating a space where conversations like these felt approachable, supportive and empowering. Sometimes the most meaningful awareness starts with making people feel comfortable enough to ask questions.

A few days ago, The Rare Mare Photobooth had the privilege of being part of FiveTwoNine and Adobe UK Creator Sundown, bringing our DSLR photobooth experience to a room full of incredible creators, storytellers and industry professionals.

Moments like these remind us just how far we've come. From our first bookings to collaborating with globally recognised brands, every event has played a part in this journey.

As we head to Cannes Lions, we're taking a moment to celebrate this milestone and reflect on the relationships, opportunities and experiences that continue to shape our business.

We are officially FINALISTS for Young Entrepreneur of the Year at the UK StartUp Awards (South East) 🏆

What started as something we “just tried” has grown into a business now being recognised on this level… and that’s not something we take lightly.

From last-minute bookings, to delivering over 100 events in 2 years, to building through word of mouth and real connections this journey has been anything but linear.

But it’s been consistent. And it’s been intentional.
