An unexpectedly stunning parkup near Oban before catching the Ferry to Mull. This was Falls of Lora, tidal rapids with overfalls up to 1.2m. The water was constantly swirling and mesmerising to watch. We were treated to a good sunset (it was 'great' at the time but the next night's was even better!!)

A quick stop in Luss to break up the drive on our way to Oban. Beautiful little village. Of course we had to have Haggis, Neeps and Tatties as soon as we set foot in Scotland 😂 Can't say that this was the best version we've had though, but the drinks were good, Banoffee Coffee, with cream and a flake! And a Ben Lomond, a latte with marshmallows in and snow on top! We've timed this trip just right to see the bluebells, they're out in full force and just stunning. Absolutely loving the purple hills!

No time for adventures at the moment, but I'm grateful that despite only walking the dogs round our local roads there's so many spring flowers to see! We're lucky to have quite a lot of little woodland areas around us and this particular bit is a lovely little path that's finally dry enough again so I can cut out some of the road walking.

A glimpse of the Northern Lights...From our bedroom window in the South of England 🥰 It's moments like these that make me yearn for more adventure. That and I'm sure the stress of an emergency vet visit for Amber this evening might have something to do with it too 😅 From the way she was reacting we thought she had a piece of tennis ball stuck in her throat, thankfully it was only stuck in the roof of her mouth. We got lucky, and in more ways than one, our lovely vets didn't charge us a consultation fee either, very grateful!

This was vanlife at its very best: cosy nights in the van, frosty mornings, beautiful sunrises and sunsets, peaceful walks, and plenty of wildlife. Despite it only being a short trip, it was packed with truly unforgettable moments that reminded us why we love being out in our campervan so much!
