A proper bank holiday wedding in Halifax ☀️
Michael & Emma kept things small, relaxed, and full of the people who matter most — the kind of intimate wedding where every moment feels personal. From the emotional ceremony at Holdsworth House to filling the day with live music, everything had such an easy, warm atmosphere.

Emma’s speech completely stole the room, the sunshine somehow lasted all day, and by the evening the ci**rs were out with the groom and groomsmen while everyone soaked up those golden bank holiday vibes. No big production, no fuss — just loads of laughter, happy tears, candid moments, and two people clearly having the best day with their favourite humans.

One of those weddings that reminds you simple is sometimes perfect 🤍

A Manchester wedding that felt like pure joy from start to finish. Pawel & Hayley kicked things off at The Edwardian Hotel Manchester with one of the best bridal prep moments I’ve seen—Beat It playing, dance moves flying, and zero nerves in sight.

The Monastery set the stage for a beautiful ceremony, followed by a next-level confetti moment thanks to a full softball team guard of honour. Portraits around the original parts of the building gave us that perfect mix of romance and character.

Then came the speeches—heartfelt, hilarious, a few tears—and just when everyone thought they’d seen it all… a surprise Polish dance troupe took over the evening (with the newlyweds jumping right in).

Big love to for capturing it all alongside me. What a day.

Ten years in the making, and Emma & Emily’s wedding day felt like the perfect mix of calm, chaos, and so much love. From getting ready at The Midland Manchester to saying “I do” inside Stockport Town Hall, every moment had its own story. Emma looked effortlessly cool in a light blue suit, while Emily brought all the elegance in a beautiful dress — the contrast was just chef’s kiss.

A bright red double decker bus carried everyone through Manchester (with a little unexpected detour thanks to a city-centre protest), adding to the adventure before the celebrations at Elgato Manchester. Between the laughter, the portraits, and those beautifully unplanned moments, this day was everything a wedding in Manchester should be — real, joyful, and completely theirs 🤍

Kayakers, a moody lakeside sunset, and some of the best speeches I’ve heard in a long time… Andrew & Amy’s wedding at The Ashes Barns had everything.

After a beautiful ceremony in the Staffordshire countryside, we snuck away for some relaxed portraits around the barns before heading down to the boating lake. The light turned soft and dramatic, perfect for those moody portraits that just feel a little cinematic.

A fun little connection to the lake too — a lot of their friends are keen kayakers, so it felt like the perfect setting to capture a few quiet moments together.

Then came the speeches… equal parts hilarious, emotional, and completely unforgettable.

Til We Are Ghosts 🖤✨

Matt and Hope’s gothic wedding in Sheffield was unforgettable! From their ceremony at STC Sheffield to the relaxed countryside vibes at Wood Lane Countryside Centre, every moment was full of joy and personality. Matt rocked an all-black suit, Hope stunned in her black dress with yellow Converse, and their family dogs even joined in on the fun. Bubbles floated through the air instead of confetti — because honestly, bubbles are so much better! Guests feasted on a 3-course meal by Steel City Catering and later indulged in a huge charcuterie board by Molly’s Café and Deli. Relaxed, candid, romantic, and completely them — a perfect Sheffield wedding celebration.

Rain? What rain ☔️✨

Matt & Jade tied the knot at the beautiful Meols Hall in Southport, and while the weather tried its best to make an appearance, it didn’t stop a thing. We explored the stunning grounds for portraits (umbrellas and all!) and the courtyard was buzzing with fun – their guests throwing themselves into the games and laughter carrying all around the venue.

The day had such a relaxed, joyful vibe from start to finish – and it was amazing working alongside the brilliant capturing it all on film.

So grateful to be back at Meols Hall, one of Lancashire’s most timeless wedding venues – it really does make every moment feel magical.

You’re going to love this one… 🥂✨

Harry & Ovy met just before Covid hit, then spent more than a year (and 7,000 miles apart!) with Harry in Yorkshire and Ovy back home in Indonesia. After all that waiting, they finally said “I do” at the stunning Wharfedale Grange wedding venue in Yorkshire – and it was worth every second.

The day had everything: gorgeous décor, a secret bridal suite, a ceremony full of laughter (led by the brilliant Paula), lawn games in the sunshine, and the sweetest family moments. We snuck off for some relaxed couple portraits too – nothing posed, just them being themselves around this incredible venue.

And then the evening… confetti cannons, champagne sprays, and a dance floor that went absolutely wild 🎉 This was one for the books.

So grateful I get to capture days like this as a Yorkshire wedding photographer – and Wharfedale Grange always delivers!

Lewis and Rebecca were such good fun all day. They had so many laughs as they enjoyed the day with their friends and family. The sun shone on us all day making the Manor House and its grounds look beautiful. It also made us appreciate the Air Con inside!!

Love my first visit there, hopefully not my last either.

Its also the first time I’ve been asked to photograph a cabbage, photo not included here 🤣
