Newborn days fly by, but your photos don’t have to. My two hour, baby‑led sessions take place in your home where you can relax and not have to worry about being anywhere, just cuddling your baby. I capture real moments of life as it is now, with siblings, pets - however it looks for you.

Photographic prints carry an emotional weight that lives in their very surface; the paper texture, the soft ageing, the creases that have travelled through time. They are tactile pieces of family history, held and passed on with care.

Digitising them doesn’t replace that physical magic, but it does open new possibilities: protecting fragile originals, making them easier to share - especially those now stuck to albums where they can’t be moved, and giving families regular access without risking damage. A digital file becomes an extension of the original as a way to preserve, revisit, and celebrate your family story.

For the past three years I’ve been immersed in family archives, researching, and re‑photographing thousands of prints. It’s shown my love of family photography isn’t only in creating new images, but in restoring and honouring the old. Which is why I’m so excited to launch my new Family Archive Digitisation Service alongside what I already offer.

From my studio in Ashford, Kent, I will carefully re‑photograph your original prints or documents, retouching by hand imperfections while preserving their authentic character. Dust, scratches, creases, water damage, colour fading all gently restored. If there’s writing on the back, that too is photographed to preserve and retain context.

Within 3–4 weeks you’ll receive a private gallery with:

• A high‑resolution master file (ideal for printing)
• A web‑optimised version (perfect for sharing with family and friends)

A personalised USB option is also available.

Birthday portraits should be a thing.

I take them of my own three daughters each year. Partly because I’m a photographer, but mostly because birthdays feel like the right moment to pause to really see who they are right now.

These portraits become quiet markers of time and when you line them up year after year, you see their becoming.

You don’t need a big reason or milestone birthday. It’s enough to say: this year mattered, like it did for this beautiful girl on the eve of turning double digits.

First post of the year goes to family photography, the place where it all began for me. Being invited to document your moments is something I never take for granted. It means even more when I’m welcomed back year after year, watching families grow (like this gorgeous one!), creating a visual thread that carries through time. That sense of continuity and legacy sits at the heart of everything I do, whether I’m photographing people, places or brands.
