2025 has been a super strange year, I've proven to myself that I've come so far since starting my photography journey, however in the last few months I've strayed from instagram and facebook, stopped posting as frequently as I did; working a lot has been getting in the way of creative pursuits, leaving me feeling a bit down in the dumps, and unfortunately burned out. 🚮

I'm hoping I'll feel a bit more free (like this buzzard!) and be able to do more gigs in the new year, if anything, I'm hoping to broaden my horizons and try some new photography, like street, concert, more portraits, etc, maybe even working for people, as I've been inspired by others, seeing what they do and wondering how I can also walk a similar path.

I'm also hoping to save some more to travel, to network and meet new people and most importantly, more photographers. USA is at the top of the list.

Here's to 2026 ❤️

As everyone knows, photography is a learning journey with unlimited goals.

I have no stopping point, all I can do is go further and higher up the ladder, and to do this I will have to have confidence in myself.

I've made a profile on Ko-fi, which is a platform used by creators and artists like myself to gain support and potential financial contributions from followers and supporters.

I understand that not everyone will choose me to be their photographer, not everyone will book a session, or ask me to do some headshots. Some of the people that support me might not ever need or want photos, and that is okay! This will allow those people to actively show their support.

As always, I'm grateful for any support or time people take to look at my work.

🎭 Behind the Curtain 🎭

As the start to our 2025 Summer Season rapidly approaches, we're sharing BTC shots of all our wonderful productions in rehearsals. Starting with our first show, The Tempest! ⛈

The Tempest will be coming to Tyler Hill House between 17th-19th July with evening performances starting at 7:30pm and an additional matinee performance at 2pm on the 19th!

Here's an example of the headshots I am able to do now - alongside natural light.

When it comes to being a photographer on a budget, I have to find loopholes and affordability, and I have to do a lot of DIY.

Rather happy with how they've come out, I'm sure Gareth is happy with them too.

Hello everyone!

I have updated my website, and I now have a FAQ section.

Please take a moment to read it, and any questions not on there I will happily answer for you.

I use the Nikon D750 DSLR, with my D3200 as a backup now. For portraiture, I use the NIKKOR 24-85mm and a SIGMA 70-300mm, for conservation/animals, I use the SIGMA 150-600mm Contemporary. In certain conditions, I also use the Neewer Speedlite TT-560 with a diffuser.
