After a year’s planning, I’m absolutely delighted to share the news that on October 21st 2022 myself and Mr Stuart McDonald (CEO Forefront Commercial) will be setting off on a 6,000km round-trip drive from Armagh to, and through, the Sahara Desert to help raise money for the Cancer Fund For Children.
The primary objective of the 16-day trek is to raise funds for the exceptional work that takes place within the Daisy Lodge NI - through locally based fund-raising events and perhaps more conveniently - via the following Just Giving link:

Every single penny raised will go towards the aforementioned charity, and if any local businesses would be keen to get some unique promotional material filmed/photographed en route to the desert, please get in contact to see how your support could make a massive difference to the beneficiaries involved!!

September has been designated the Children’s Cancer Awareness Month, and if nothing else – any support you could provide in sharing, promoting or publicising the project over the next few weeks would only help embolden the success of the project and in turn reflect the aspirational mission-statement of the Cancer Fund for Children: ‘No child throughout Ireland faces cancer alone.’
