“We’re so awkward in front of the camera…”

Would you believe me if I said these guys told me they were awkward in front of a camera? 🤯
The truth is, almost every couple I’ve photographed have said the exact same thing. But as a wedding photographer it’s my job to make you feel you feel completely at ease during your wedding day or during your pre-wedding couples shoot. There are so many things that great photographers do to help you relax that you won’t even know they’re doing.
It’s not about forcing awkward poses, it’s about guiding you through the day so moments naturally happen as you forget the camera is even there.
If you’re worried about “being awkward” in your wedding photos I can promise you that you’re not the first, and you definitely won’t be the last. But if you trust your gut and trust your photographer you’ll end up with photos and memories that last a lifetime. And if you’re anything like my couples, you’ll always say you actually enjoyed having your photo taken at the end of it all, which is exactly how it should feel 🙏🏻
