My mother got married years ago about a month before my grandfather (her father) passed away from liver disease, he was quite advanced in his sickness so we knew he didn't have long, one thing my mum always said upset her was that she never got any photos with him and any she did have he looked so sick. So as a gift for Christmas just passed I took one of her favorite photos of him from before he got sick and edited it in to one of her wedding photo's. It now hangs over the dinner table and it definitely brought the joy I had hoped.
