LOCATION, LOCATION

Give me a country park any day! 🌿

One of the questions I’m asked most often is, “Where should we have our family session?”

When you’re not sure where to choose, I’m always happy to suggest locations. I’ll usually ask where you’re based and whether there’s somewhere that feels meaningful to you, or the kinds of places your family naturally enjoys spending time. Beaches, lakes, woodland trails, parks… if it’s a place you love, it’s worth considering.

I spend a lot of time exploring nature and have a growing list of beautiful local spots — some well known, others quietly tucked away. But beautiful family photos don’t require a dramatic mountain backdrop. Sometimes the perfect location is the country park you visit every weekend. Familiar surroundings help everyone feel more relaxed, and easy access and parking are always a bonus.

The best location is one that feels like your family. With a little teamwork, we’ll always find the perfect place to tell your story.

FUN IN THE BLUEBELLS

These feel like an absolute age ago now! We've had a mini summer & back to winter again (or so it feels like) since then.

But, I couldn't not give them a space on the grid.

Through the chaos, it's always best to let children lead our sessions. It's from those chaotic, wild, playful moments that the best images are often made, the ones that come from those real, unscripted moments.

Even better when they've got something interesting to explore together. Seasonal sessions are by far some of my favourite ones! 💜

MAKING IT WORK.

Because sometimes the rain doesn’t just make an appearance… it absolutely pours.

The skies opened right on cue for M&M on their wedding day, so instead of the sodden country park, we pivoted straight into the local coffee shop.

A huge shout out to ,whose team very kindly let us take over for a little while.

Honestly? It was the best decision, it was perfect.

Warm drinks, condensation dripping down windows & a cosy glow throughout.

Proof that your wedding day doesn’t have to go to plan to be completely beautiful. Sometimes, it's the unexpected moments that tell your story best 🤍

We've got the griddle on, toddler hands (& pretty much everything else ) dusted in flour, the smell of mixed spice in the air & just the right amount of sweet chaos in the kitchen today.
