You are welcome to view my photographs of interesting buildings, structures and other heritage assets in and around Gosport, a town situated on a peninsula on the west side of Portsmouth Harbour.

At one time a major naval town, Gosport has many extensive fortifications and is still home to some Naval bases. Alverstoke is a village within Gosport consisting of the coastline of Stokes Bay and part of the Parish of St Mary’s. Becoming fashionable in Victorian times, Alverstoke contains many fine houses, not least of which are those in the Crescent.

Photographs are in albums with each photograph accompanied by a brief description. The page is incomplete and still being developed.
