Yes I was right, very white today, drifting, and still snowing! Forecast is for it to snow now for another 24 hours!!

Very white at home at the moment and expecting it to be deep white by this time tomorrow!!

Both fires lit, late sun in the garden so we had a wander round and now it's cups of tea in front of one fire and then we will settle down after tea in front of the other! There are some nice things about winter coming!

Congratulations to Joss Naylor MBE Posts who won the category, Latitude Press Prize for illustration and presentation, today at the Lakeland Book of the Year Awards.

Helen Shaw (pictured) and the team at attended the awards lunch. Here she is pictured holding the book that was shortlisted for the prize 𝗔 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗹𝘀.

Helen's photos perfectly captured the essence of the literary extracts within this anthology. She captures the diverse landscape from the magnificent mountains, to the glassy lakes and glowing sunsets.
