This is one of those moments I wish I had recorded this interaction 😂

I had been sitting down photographing this wee guy come and grab hazelnuts at the bottom of this tree. Then all of a sudden I hear him chattering away coming back down. Then he/she pops around the tree and was hopping down the tree and making noises directed at me, as if they had only just spotted me 😂. it was very cute watching this red squirrel giving me sass while stomping down the tree😂 then proceed to collect more hazelnuts.

One of my favourite birds at coombes valley.
Pied flycatcher (male♂️) They are just still sorting out territories so I'll be back soon to get better photos. Most of these are actually taken with D750. LOVED this camera for it's low light capabilities! would love to know if the Z5 which I believe is the equivalent (or the z6iii) is as good!

Taking full advantage of the weather recently and got myself down to in the kingfisher hide all to myself . Due to unforeseen circumstances I only got around 3 visits and dives but still made the most of them with this stunning dive sequence, can't wait to be back down again.

It's that time of year again, kingfishers are zooming up and down streams, rivers and brooks. This time of year they are looking at pairing up for a mate, I would love to capture the "fish pass" where the male presents and gives a fish to a female in hopes of becoming a breeding pair. 👌

Got to love a gannet. At places like Bempton cliffs they can be very easily overlooked as they are there in the thousands!

But the noise, the atmosphere on the cliffs when they arrive is just spectacular!

I loved visiting earlier this year and watching them collect the bedding and nesting material, super hard to focus on which one to choose as they will be a huge flock all pulling at the grass at once! A spectacle any bird lover has to go see
