Nobody tells you how much they'll change in just a few weeks... 🤍

One day they're curled up exactly as they were in your tummy.

The next they're stretching out, staying awake longer and already looking less like a newborn.

It's something I hear from parents all the time:

"I can't believe how much they've changed already! "

The newborn stage feels endless when you're surviving on little sleep and cold cups of tea but looking back, it's one of the shortest chapters of all.

Baby Raha was just perfect for her session and looking through these images I'm reminded once again why these memories are so important to preserve.

Because babies don't keep 🤍

The photos might only take a second to capture… but there's so much that happens before anyone even walks through the studio door!

We're already at the middle of the week and it's another busy one! I've still got two newborn sessions, a cake smash and a maternity session to come before the week is out - and I'm really looking forward to catching up with and meeting lots of lovely families over the next few days.

There's always so much that goes on behind the scenes too; lots of laundry, planning setups and getting everything ready for each session. I wouldn't have it any other way though 🤍

I'm feeling very grateful to be keeping busy and doing a job I genuinely love, so thank you to each and every one of my wonderful clients for the support, recommendations, kind words and for trusting me to capture such precious memories for your families. It truly means the world to me, and I never take that trust for granted 🫶🏽

As much as I love creating beautiful styled setups, there is something so timeless about simple newborn portraits. No distractions.. just your baby exactly as they are in those first precious weeks.

Happy Monday! 🤍

I've just wrapped up a lovely newborn session with beautiful baby girl Lucia and what a dream she was. These quiet newborn mornings in the studio never get old and it was such a pleasure capturing these precious early memories for her family.

I'm taking a little day off tomorrow before diving into a very busy week ahead! The diary is completely full, and I'm so excited to meet lots of new families over the coming days, as well as welcoming back some familiar faces to the studio too!

Avaani's session was all about soft, girly styling and letting her sweet personality shine through. From twirling in her beautiful pink dress to getting thoroughly stuck into her cake, she was an absolute dream to photograph!

Whilst I absolutely love my balloon setups, there is something so special about these simpler setups too. With a classic and timeless feel, they keep the focus entirely on your little one as they celebrate turning ONE.

My Cake Smash sessions are designed to capture your little one's big milestone in a fun and relaxed way!

✨ We start with clean portraits (including family and sibling photos if you'd like)
🎂 Then comes the cake smash itself - where your little one can explore, play and make a mess!
🛁 We finish with an adorable splash bath, which is often a firm favourite with little ones.

The result? A beautiful gallery full of smiles, messy fingers and adorable photos!

I had the pleasure of meeting beautiful baby Roman for his newborn session at just 2 weeks old – and he was an absolute dream to photograph!

What made this session even more special was welcoming his big sister, Arabella, back to the studio. I captured her newborn photographs just under two years ago and seeing her step into her new role as a loving big sister was so special 🩷
