Spent the day in the woods, just around the corner from my house, capturing the beauty of wild garlic (ramsons) by a serene stream. I brought along my trusty old Fuji X-E1, and let me tell you, even after 13 years, this camera still delivers stunning quality! It’s a bit like me—getting older but still going strong!

Patience is everything with bluebells.

It’s tempting to rush, to take the shot as soon as you find the scene, but with bluebells, the magic happens when the light is right.

Bluebell season has arrived… and the woods are putting on a show.

This is one of my favourite images from a shoot I filmed a few years ago, a morning spent chasing light through a carpet of blue.

I captured the whole process on video, from finding the composition to working with the conditions, it’s now had over 1,000 views, so it’s clearly resonated.

There's Something special about this time of year in the UK… the quiet arrival of bluebell season.

A few years ago, I headed into the forest with my camera to capture that fleeting moment when the woodland floor transforms into a sea of blue. I filmed the whole experience, the light, the atmosphere, the process, and shared it on YouTube.

It’s since had over 1,000 views… so I must have done something right.

If you’re organising a live event, you already have enough on your plate.

The last thing you need is worrying whether your photographer will deliver.

This week I had the pleasure of photographing an evening with darts star Justin Hood as he shared stories from his incredible run at the 2026 World Championships.

Alongside documenting the event itself, I photographed the VIP guests with Justin, printed the images on site, and had them signed before they left. A simple touch, but one that turns a great evening into something tangible people take home and remember.

Because it’s not just about a polished online portfolio.
