The results from flying the drone in Cwm Rheidol yesterday!

Local artist, and friend, Ty Tyler asked me to get some reference shots for a piece of work they are doing. We agreed on videos as they can use any still rather than risk missing the perfect shot!

What do you think of my first drone work?

I particularly like the final shot going up the valley!

Come and watch me open up the bees, from start to finish!

Not wearing full protective gear as I wasn't in for a full hive inspection! I had gone through all the frames thoroughly the day before and noticed that the queen had almost run out of space to lay her eggs. After speaking to a more experienced bee keeper, I decided to take the queen excluder off so she could lay eggs up in the honey super.

I now need to buy a new super and if all goes well a smaller nuc box so I can split the colony and go into winter with two.
