The Menai Straits is a narrow stretch of shallow tidal water separating Anglesey and main land Wales.

The Menai Suspension Bridge in the distance was designed by Thomas Telford and completed in 1826.

In the foreground you can make out St. Tysilio’s Church. This medieval church is uniquely located on this little island and contains many graves.
