We don't like having our photo taken? Does that sound about right for you too?

What if I told you that nearly everyone I meet may say that before they've met me....and what happens after their day is amazing and the opposite.

I help you relax and slow down. I take the stress away from the idea of the camera and people watching you on your wedding day. By blending and hardly noticing I am there so it makes it more enjoyable and when I am there, I am your friend that's there to help you every step.

You won't realise the moments I have captured until your gallery gets delivered. And that's the pure gold and a reflection of how you felt in that moment.

Top tips

Have the bubbles in hand.
Make sure the atmosphere is lit, music is a must.
Surround yourself with loved ones.
Pick besties that are hype squad
Don't get too caught up in the details
What will be will be.
Girls, the dress always gets dirty, you can't avoid it.
The shoes will always hurt, pack a plan B flat (you will thank me for this later)
Throw yourself into everyone around you.
Be in the moment with each other. Lock in to each others souls.

The best thing you can bring to your wedding photos? Each other.

Forget the timeline for a moment and forget the camera, just be one and together. Give me those sparkles in your eyes and being swept off your feet in the moment. Have fun and make each other laugh.

Emma + Jack's gorgeous wedding at Meldrum House, we had so much fun with you all and so happy the weather was kind to us.... and we finally got those bonny highland cows to come up close, which was a huge deal for Emma as they are her fave!

August is almost over and I have captured 5 amazing stories this month. I will be in a full on editing cave. Right now I am working on weddings from 30th July. Turn around times may be around 4-8 weeks at the moment but hopefully the earlier the better for you all, just let me find my feet after the busiest month of 2026.

Thank you to each and every one of you who trust me to be there and capture it all and remember if you or someone you know is getting married and still looking for their photographer please tell them to come my way. I would love to help for 2027/ 2028

NEWBORN SESSION GUIDE | ABERDEENSHIRE

If you’re expecting your little one, you might be wondering…

What do we bring? What do they wear? What if baby cries the whole time?

Don’t worry. Your newborn session is designed to be calm, relaxed and completely baby led. You don’t need to know what you’re doing, and you definitely don’t need to have a perfectly settled baby!

WHEN SHOULD I BOOK?

I recommend getting in touch during pregnancy and booking for your estimated due month. Your actual session date is arranged once baby arrives, so there’s no need to worry if they decide to come early or fashionably late!

Ideally, newborn sessions take place within the first couple of weeks, when babies are still very sleepy and curled up, but every baby is different and we can still create beautiful photographs beyond this point.

WHAT SHOULD YOU BRING?

Honestly… not much!

• Plenty of nappies
• Baby wipes
• A dummy, only if you already use one
• A couple of feeds
• Any special blanket or sentimental item you'd like included
• A spare outfit for yourselves.... just in case!

I have a selection of beautiful newborn wraps, outfits, blankets in the studio, so you don't need to arrive with a suitcase full of baby clothes.

HOW SHOULD WE PREPARE BABY?

Try to keep baby awake for a little while before you leave, if possible, and give them a nice full feed shortly before the session.

But please don't stress if none of that happens!

If they're hungry, we feed them.
If they need changed, we change them.
If they need cuddles, we cuddle them.
If they need a little break, we take one.

There is absolutely no rushing.
..... AND WHAT ABOUT YOU?

Come as you are.

You don't need to have everything organised perfectly. You don't need to arrive looking like you've had 8 hours sleep. And you certainly don't need to worry about whether your baby will stay calm.

You've just had a baby. Be kind to yourself and enjoy this little bubble.

My studio is warm, cosy and set up specifically for newborn sessions, and I will guide you through everything from start to finish.

Most parents arrive feeling a little nervous and leave feeling so content and happy. ❤️

Engagement /couple sessions don't need to be boring on my watch, no matter how nerve wracking you find it, I will always find a way to make it fab for you.

Perfect, at Craigievar Castle

There’s something incredibly beautiful about choosing to keep your wedding day small and intimate. I feel super special and grateful being invited along to share those moments with you both.

The day began with thick fog and rain thundering down, but somehow, by the time we reached the castle, everything softened. The rain held off, the grounds fell quiet, and there was this little pocket of calm and peace around them.

And honestly, it took my breath away as it was perfect.
There was no way we should have had calm weather as all around us the sky was full.

Personal, peaceful and calm. Letting them celebrate just the way they wanted it to be.

This is your reminder that your wedding day can look however the two of you want it to look.

And sometimes, surrounded by just a handful of people, it can feel like the whole world has gone quiet just for you. 🤍
