This work of non-fiction will be constructed from numerous interviews with NHS employees, from as many different bands as possible. To protect the identity of the participants, actors will then speak their words, telling their stories, word for word on screen, removing any identifiers and ensuring that the source always remains anonymous. Those actors will be the voice of the NHS staff, unfiltered, and free to discuss their work and their opinions with complete freedom or consequence. No real names will be used. All participating subjects will remain anonymous from the NHS as well as from all other participants. ONLY the filmmaker will know the identities of the participants and interviews will be conducted in private, at wherever location is preferred by the participant.
It will be a balanced depiction of the great work that’s being done and the challenges that have to be tackled daily. No one understands these challenges better than the people working in the NHS and this is an opportunity to speak openly about the hardest parts of the job, the most rewarding parts of the job, the beautiful moments and the saddest ones, the future of the NHS, how you think the NHS can or will continue, and what should or needs to be done to keep this great institution, and whatever else you feel is important for people to know.
If you work for, or have worked for the NHS and would like to tell your stories and/or express your opinions about the job or the NHS in any way whatsoever, please contact me and express your interest. Your identity will be kept confidential at all times and a time will be arranged to conduct an interview that suits your needs.
