Our one-night stopover in the Plonévez-Porzay region turned out to be another little gem along the beautiful Brittany coastline. We found a wonderfully quiet spot along a peaceful coastal road, with sea views very close to our motor home.

And then, as if the day couldn’t get any better, we were delighted to be joined once again by our French friends Céline, Alain and Ubert. It’s always a pleasure when our paths cross during our travels!

We all headed down to Plage de Sainte-Anne-la-Palud beach for a long, leisurely walk along the beach, enjoying the fresh sea air, beautiful coastline and simply being outdoors together.

Back at the motor homes, it was time for l’apéro 🍷🥖 drinks, light snacks, plenty of conversation, laughter and good company, and an end to it all with a magnificent sunset over the sea. Nothing fancy, just one of those wonderfully relaxed evenings that remind us why we love this travelling lifestyle so much.

Another beautiful Breton stop, another great memory, and another evening shared with friends. Merci ❤️

One of the joys of travelling with a drone is being able to see the places we visit from a completely different perspective. And I was lucky enough to take to the skies above Pointe du Bendy, Logonna-Daoulas, to capture the incredible beauty of this wild corner of Brittany.

From above, the peninsula really comes alive! The rugged coastline, dramatic cliffs, pine covered landscape and golden gorse surrounded by the beautiful waters of Brest Harbour.

The aerial views also reveal the natural double tombolo connecting tiny Bindy Island to the mainland, while the Plougastel and Crozon peninsulas stretch away into the distance.

It was an absolute privilege to see this beautiful part of Brittany from the skies and capture it from a perspective that simply isn't possible from the ground.

Quality Time at Pointe du Bendy, Logonna-Daoulas

Sometimes, the best places we discover on our travels are the ones where we simply slow down and enjoy being there. And Pointe du Bendy was definitely one of those special places.

We found a beautiful spot for our motor home overlooking the wild coastline of Brest Harbour, surrounded by pine trees, cliffs and fields of golden gorse (see Park4night ref #6207). The scenery was absolutely stunning, with incredible views stretching across the water towards the Plougastel and Crozon peninsulas.

As the day came to an end, the coastline was bathed in beautiful evening light, the perfect way to finish another memorable day in Brittany.

After spending a quiet night here, the next day we were lucky enough to be joined by our wonderful French friends Alain, Céline and Ubert 🐶, making our stay even more special.

We spent some wonderful quality time together, enjoying good company and a beautiful walk all the way to the tip of the peninsula. With the sea stretching out in every direction, the rugged coastline beneath us and Bindy Island connected to the mainland by its natural sandy tombolo, it was one of those walks where you just stop, look around and think… how lucky are we to be here?

These are the moments that make travelling by motorhome so special… discovering beautiful places, sharing them with wonderful people, and making memories along the way.

After leaving Morlaix, we spent one night in neighbouring Plourin-lès-Morlaix, stopping at a lovely free municipal Aire to top up our water tank.

The evening became even more enjoyable when Alain, Céline and Ubert joined us for a traditional French apéritif, l’apéro. 🥂 A wonderfully sociable French ritual of drinks, nibbles and good conversation, usually enjoyed between 6:00 and 7:30 p.m. the perfect way to end the day!

The following morning, we headed back towards the coast and discovered a beautiful spot on the waterfront at Lanvoy, in Hanvec, where we spent a few peaceful hours relaxing and flying the drone.

We explored the historic Chapel of Lanvoy, dating back to an 11th-century monastic foundation linked to the Abbey of Landévennec, with its impressive 1662 bell tower still standing proudly today.

We also took the drone out over the water to get a bird’s-eye view of the fascinating former Louis XIV gunpowder mill, another little piece of Brittany’s rich history hidden along this stunning coastline.

Another wonderful stop, combining friendship, French traditions, history and spectacular scenery. ❤️🇫🇷

📸 A Day Exploring Beautiful Morlaix, Brittany 🇫🇷⚓

A few favourite moments from our wander around Morlaix, a charming Breton town filled with character, beautiful waterfront scenery and fascinating architecture.

We strolled through the Port and Marina, soaking up the peaceful atmosphere, admiring the boats and discovering the streets and buildings around the town. And, of course, there was the magnificent Morlaix Viaduct, an incredible sight from both the streets below and the viewpoints above.

After finding a convenient spot to park our motorhome just a few kilometres from the marina, we headed into Morlaix, Brittany, to explore this beautiful town on foot.

We wandered along the picturesque Port and Marina, taking in the boats, waterfront and charming Breton surroundings before discovering the impressive Morlaix Viaduct. We admired this incredible 19th century structure from both below and above, with our drone giving us a whole new perspective over the marina, town and viaduct.

Another wonderful stop on our European motor home adventure and a great reminder that sometimes the best discoveries are just a short drive from where you park! 🚐❤️

The Wild Brittany Coastline near Saint-Jean-du-Doigt

What a beautiful little slice of Brittany we discovered near Saint-Jean-du-Doigt!

We found an incredible free parking spot right along the rugged Brittany coastline, with the most amazing views out across the sea. It was the perfect place to slow down, enjoy the peace and simply take in the wild beauty of this part of France.

From our motor home, we had easy access to the famous GR34 coastal hiking trail, so we set off on foot and followed the trail along the dramatic coastline towards the nearby beach. With rugged cliffs, sweeping sea views, hidden coves and the sound of the waves below, every step offered another spectacular view.

And to make the evening even more special, our dear friends Alain, Céline and Ubert 🐶 joined us.

After a wonderful day of exploring, we enjoyed a relaxed evening together, watching the sun slowly disappear over the Brittany coastline. 🍷

Taking to the skies above Tréguier!

A few of our favourite drone clips capturing the beautiful rivers and countryside around this charming Breton town. From above, you can really appreciate the peaceful meeting of the Jaudy and Guindy rivers, the winding waterways, lush green landscape and the historic town of Tréguier nestled alongside them.

There’s something very special about seeing Brittany from this perspective, peaceful, picturesque and absolutely beautiful! 💙

We spent a wonderful couple of days exploring this charming historic town, beginning with the majestic Saint-Tugdual Cathedral and its beautiful Gothic cloister. We wandered through the cobbled streets, admiring the characterful half-timbered houses and discovering the birthplace of the famous French writer and historian Ernest Renan.

From our picturesque riverside motor home parking spot (Park4night ref #1218), we enjoyed a lovely stroll along the river banks towards the confluence of the Jaudy and Guindy rivers, taking in the peaceful scenery and beautiful Breton countryside along the way.

And, of course, we couldn't resist taking to the skies with the drone! Seeing Tréguier, its historic rooftops and the winding rivers from above gave us a completely different perspective of this beautiful corner of Brittany.
