From Thursday to Sunday, the World Circuit La Conca in Muro Leccese, Apulia, will host the Mondokart.com FIA Karting World Championship, dedicated to the OK and Junior categories. No fewer than 194 drivers will battle it out for two world titles, one of the highest accolades in the discipline, aiming to write their names into the history books of a competition dating back to 1964. In the OK class, Noah Baglin enters as the clear favorite. Crowned Junior World Champion in 2025, the Kart Republic driver and Ferrari Driver Academy member is coming off a victory at the final round of the Euro in Kristianstad. He knows the La Conca layout like the back of his hand: during the European season opener there, he won all but one of the qualifying heats before triumphing in the Super Heat and the final.

En OK, Noah Baglin se présente en grand favori. Before racing for the Alpine team in Formula 1, Frenchman Pierre Gasly battled it out on international karting grids, from World Cups to European Championships. The driver from Normandy has never forgotten the adrenaline, the technical demands, and the unfiltered driving experience of his intense campaigns at the highest level of competition.

"Honestly, karting remains one of the best times of my life. When you're a kid, you only think about the passion, the thrill, the effort. There aren't really any responsibilities. You're just trying to improve, and you have this big dream of reaching Formula 1. It's funny, most of the guys we were racing against back then are the ones I bump into on the tracks today. At the time, we didn't know it, but it's pure driving.

Le Normand n'a jamais oublié l'adrénaline, l'exigence technique et le pilotage sans filtre de ses intenses campagnes au plus haut niveau de la compétition.

« Honnêtement, le karting reste l'une des meilleures périodes de ma vie. Quand on est enfant, on ne pense qu'à la passion, aux sensations, à l'effort. Il n'y a pas vraiment de responsabilités. On essaie juste de s'améliorer, et on a ce grand rêve d'atteindre la Formule 1. C'est amusant, la plupart des gars avec qui nous courions à l'époque sont ceux que je croise sur les circuits aujourd'hui. À l'époque, on ne le savait pas, mais c'est du pilotage à l'état pur.

K1 Speed, l’un des leaders mondiaux du karting indoor, a signé un accord de sponsoring pluriannuel avec Zayne Burgess, un jeune talent américain d’exception qui poursuit son rêve d’accéder à la Formule 1.

K1 Speed, a global leader in indoor kart racing, has signed a multi-year sponsorship agreement with Zayne Burgess, an outstanding young American talent pursuing his dream of reaching Formula 1.

For K1 Speed, the partnership has special significance: Zayne took his very first karting lap at K1 Speed in Miami when he was five years old. Today, at just 10 years old, he is turning that early passion into an extraordinary international racing career.

Last days to take advantage of the final available places, as the entry deadline is set for November 6th. The 54th edition will take place from November 12th to 15th at South Garda Karting.

It is a record turnout for this 54th Trofeo delle Industrie, with over 330 drivers entered in this major international event organized in Lonato by Parma Motorsport, which has continued to write karting history since 1971.

The event, which brings together the KZ2, OK-N, OK-N Junior, MINI Gr.3, and MINI Gr.3 U10 categories, is scheduled from November 12th to 15th at the South Garda Karting circuit in Lonato. The Trofeo delle Industrie has been based there since 2012, after making its debut at the "Mondial Pista" in Parma, the result of the great intuition and organizational skills of its historic founder, Umberto Pellegrini.

In order to ensure optimal organization of the Trofeo delle Industrie, a maximum number of participants has been set for each category.

Ce week-end, près de 200 pilotes sont réunis sur le mythique circuit de La Conca, dans le sud de l'Italie, pour disputer le Championnat du Monde Mondokart.com FIA Karting OK et Junior. L'événement est historique : la FIA y célèbre les 70 ans de l'invention du karting.

Tout a commencé en Californie, lorsque Art Ingles et Lou Borelli ont associé un moteur de tondeuse à gazon de 2,5 chevaux à un châssis en tubes d'acier conçu par Ingles. Équipé d'un simple accélérateur, d'un frein à main et d'un volant à trois branches, ce « petit bolide » a d'abord séduit les passionnés sur les parkings de supermarchés américains à la fin des années 50, avant de s'exporter en Europe.

This weekend, nearly 200 drivers have gathered at the legendary La Conca circuit in southern Italy to compete in the Mondokart.com FIA Karting World Championship OK and Junior. The event is historic: the FIA is celebrating the 70th anniversary of the invention of karting.

It all began in California when Art Ingles and Lou Borelli paired a 2.5-horsepower lawnmower engine with a tubular steel chassis designed by Ingles. Equipped with a simple throttle, a handbrake, and a three-spoke steering wheel, this "little racer" initially won over enthusiasts in American supermarket parking lots in the late 1950s before making its way to Europe.

In response to the rapid growth of the discipline and the creation of the Go Kart Club of America in 1957, the FIA founded the International Karting Commission in 1962 to unify the regulations.

This weekend, nearly 200 drivers have gathered at the legendary La Conca circuit in southern Italy to compete in the Mondokart.com FIA Karting World Championship OK and Junior.
